This thing worked great for me. I liked that the buckle was plastic and indeed, I passed through security checks with the belt on in at least three countries and was never asked to remove it. I bought this one because to me, the other brands looked like they could be easily identified as "money belts" by their awkward looking, non-standard width. What's the point in "hiding" money in your belt when your belt screams "I'm designed to hide stuff"? Anyway, the width dictated that US currency be folded into exactly thirds, and the Thai Baht I was stashing had to fold into fourths. Still, with plenty of length to place several bills end to end, I found it easy to overlap a little and put plenty of bills inside. And I found the belt comfortable to wear. All in all, I was happy with the purchase and found it to meet my needs.

Bought this for my husband to use on a trip recently. Yes, you have to fold the bills in thirds for them to fit, but that should be expected otherwise the belt would have to be so wide it would likely not fit through belt loops. It could fit roughly 10-12 bills in its secret compartment. The zipper closure is secure, and my husband had no problems with the plastic clasp. Overall, I would recommend this as an inexpensive way to conceal cash. My husband has used it for about four trips so far, it is perfect. The price makes it even more of a steal than just an investment. Definitely would recommend it to any travelers, and even non-travelers. You can’t be too careful anyways.

I used this for my recent trip to Italy, Croatia and Hungary, and it worked well. It obviously isn't large enough to use as a more typical "money belt" which is more like a small purse that you wear under your clothing which can hold money, passport, etc. but it is suitable for emergency cash and a photocopy of my passport just as a lifeline in case my actual documents were lost or stolen. The buckle is easy to use and holds the belt firmly on. The zippered pocket is secure. Overall, this belt was exactly what I expected andI'm glad to have the peace of mind while traveling.
